- cucumbers
- dill
- clove of garlic
- pod of pepper (if desired)
- 2 c. water
- 1/3 c. salt (pickling)
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Wash and dry cucumbers.

2Pack in jar in which you have already put dill, clove of garlic and pod of pepper, if desired.

3Boil water, salt, vinegar and sugar.

4Pour immediately over cucumbers and seal jar.

5Hot water bath 5 to 10 minutes or until cucumbers turn slightly yellow.

6Ready in 2 weeks.
