  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon liquid honey or 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill

    Peel and split the carrots.

    Place balance of ingredients in a medium pot and bring to a boil.

    Add carrots and cook until still firm but not crisp.
