Dilled Salmon Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs (2 1/2 slices)
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can salmon, drained and finely flaked
  • packaged instant mashed potatoes (to equal 4 servings)
  • 1 egg
  • Dill Sauce

Directions

    Combine bread crumbs, milk, the beaten egg, onion, butter or margarine and salt until crumbs are moistened. Add salmon and mix thoroughly. Turn into a greased 8-inch pie plate.

    Prepare instant potatoes according to package directions, omitting milk. Beat in the remaining egg.

    Spoon around edge of pie.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve wedges with warm Dill Sauce.
