  • 4 lb. green beans
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 heads fresh dill
  • 4 hot peppers (optional)
  • 5 c. white vinegar
  • 5 c. water
  • 1/2 c. canning salt

Directions

    Wash beans, snap top and tails and wash again in several changes of cold water.

    Pack beans lengthwise in sterilized quart jars.

    Place garlic and dill in each jar.

    Add 1 hot pepper if desired.
