- 2 lb. beans (small, not a full bean)
- 1 tsp. red pepper (ground)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 large heads dill
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Cook beans for 3 minutes.

2(Have water boiling when you put beans in.)

3Place 1 head of dill, 1 garlic clove and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in each jar (4 jars); pack beans in jars.

4In a saucepan, combine water, vinegar, salt and sugar; bring to a boil and pour over beans.

5Seal.

6Makes 4 pints.
