  • 2 lb. green beans
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 heads dill
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 2 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. pickling salt
  • 4 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Pack beans in pint jars and leave 1/4 inch space to each jar, add 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 dill head.

    Combine ingredients of water, vinegar, pickling salt and sugar.

    Bring to a boil.

    Pour over beans.

    Process 10 minutes in boiling water.

    Let stand 2 weeks before tasting.
