Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. small curd cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
- 1 Tbsp. softened butter or oleo
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion or fresh, chopped
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except flour.

2Mix thoroughly (not with mixer).

3Add flour gradually.

4Cover and let rise about 1 hour in a warm place.

5Punch down; put in greased small loaf pans or casserole dish.

6Let rise, covered, 30 to 40 minutes.

7Bake for 40 minutes at 325°.

8Recipe can be doubled, but use 9 x 13-inch pan.
