- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1 Tbsp. instant onion flakes
- 2 tsp. dill
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm. Combine in bowl cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and yeast.

3Add flour until dough is stiff, add gradually.

4Knead dough for approximately 5 minutes, then cover. Let rise in warm place (85° to 90°) until light and doubled in size, 50 to 60 minutes.

5Then stir down.

6Place in greased bread pan.

7Let rise 30 to 40 minutes.

8Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
