- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.

3Add next 6 ingredients, then add yeast mixture.

4Add flour to form stiff dough. Cover to rise to double.

5Stir down. Turn into well-greased 1 1/2-quart casserole or 8-inch round pan. Let rise 30 to 40 minutes until light.

6Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

7Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
