- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 egg, unbeaten
- 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour.
Directions

1Put starter in refrigerator 3-5 days.

2Take out and feed with the following:

33/4 cup sugar, 3 teaspoons instant potatoes, 1 cup Pillsbury bread flour, 1 cup warm water.

4Mix well with starter. Let stand out of refrigerator all day (8-12 hours).

5This will not rise, just bubble.

6Take out 1 cup of starter to use for making bread.

7Return remaining starter to refrigerator.

8Keep 3-5 days, then feed again.

9If you do not make bread, discard or divide with a friend.
