Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. warm, creamed cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 or 2 Tbsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 1/4 tsp. 2 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in water; combine in mixing bowl the cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and softened yeast.

2Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.

3Cover and let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size.

4Stir dough down.

5Turn into well-greased 8-inch round 2-quart casserole.

6Let rise in warm place until light.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 40 or 50 minutes.

8Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
