Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. dry minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Soften the yeast in the water; set aside.

2Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.

3In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese with sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt and soda.

4Add the flour slowly, beating well after each addition.

5Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (50 to 60 minutes).

6Stir dough down and turn into a well greased round 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole dish.

7Let rise in a warm place until light (30 to 40 minutes). Bake at 300° for 45 minutes until golden brown.

8Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with garlic salt.
