Ingredients

  • 3 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1/3 c. oleo
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1/4 lb. grated cheese
  • 2 tsp. Heinz 57 sauce
  • 8 c. canned tomatoes, drained of liquid

Directions

    Cook the first 3 ingredients in salted water until tender. Melt the oleo; add the flour and salt and stir well.

    Add 1 teaspoon of salt and milk.

    Cook until thick and cheese is melted. Add potatoes.

    Add Heinz 57 sauce and tomatoes after draining the juice.

    Add 1/8 cup minced parsley.

    Heat and serve.
