Ingredients
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. plus 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. warm milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 4 tsp. salt
- 7 to 8 c. flour
- butter, melted
Directions

1In large bowl, dissolve yeast in water; add 2 teaspoons of sugar.

2Let stand for 10 minutes.

3Add milk, oil, salt and remaining sugar.

4Add enough flour to form a stiff dough.

5Turn out onto a floured surface; knead until smooth, about 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl and turn over to grease top.

6Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 2 1/2 hours.

7Punch dough down. Divide into 4 pieces; divide 1 piece into 12 balls.

8Repeat with remaining dough.

9Place rolls on greased baking sheets.

10Brush with melted butter.

11Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

12Makes 4 dozen.
