Dipping Chocolate

  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 10 Tbsp. shaved household paraffin wax

Directions

    Put wax and chocolate in top of double boiler.

    Place over hot water.

    Heat over medium heat.

    Never melt wax over direct heat. Stir until chocolate is melted and well blended.

    Remove double boiler from heat.

    Insert double pronged kitchen fork into bottom of fondant egg or place egg on a flat wire skimmer.

    Dip into chocolate.

    Let excess chocolate drip for a moment.

    Carefully place egg on wax paper cookie sheet.
  10. 10
    Stir chocolate before dipping each egg.

    If chocolate thickens, place over low heat.
