Directions

   Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to soft ball stage.

   Test with small amount in cold water or until it spins thin thread when dropped from spoon.

   Pour syrup into beaten egg whites and beat with mixer until consistency to drop from spoon onto waxed paper. Chopped nuts or candied cherries may be added just before spooning up.

   Garnish with half nuts or pieces of cherry on top.
