- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. white Karo
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Boil sugar, water, syrup and salt in saucepan until a drop in cold water forms a hard ball.

2Pour over stiffly beaten egg whites in a thin stream.

3Add vanilla and continue to beat until stiff. Fold in nuts.

4Pour in pan lined with wax paper.

5When set, cut in squares.
