- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
- 1 egg white
Directions

1Boil the syrup, water and sugar together until it spins a thread

2or the mixture registers 240° on thermometer.

3Pour slowly a

5at a time, first over the egg white which has been beaten stiff, but not dry.

6Beat rapidly until all syrup is added.

8in vanilla and add nuts.

9Beat until mixture stands alone.
