- 1 c. nut meats, chopped coarsely
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 egg whites
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preparation:

2Assemble ingredients and utensils needed. Separate eggs.

3Chop nut meats coarsely.

4Combine, in a saucepan, sugar, light corn syrup and water.

5Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolved, then cook over low heat, without stirring, to hard ball stage (265°).

6Test by dropping a few drops in a cup of cold water.
