- 1 1/2 c. corn meal
- 1 c. corn
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. sharp cheese
- 1 or 2 hot peppers, chopped
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/2 large sweet pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
Directions

1Mix all but cheese.

2Pour 1/2 batter into greased preheated skillet.

3Sprinkle cheese over top.

4Pour remaining batter on top of cheese.

5Cook at 375° for about 30 minutes.

6Makes 1 large black skillet full.
