  • 2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 pt. chopped sweet red peppers
  • 2 pt. chopped sweet green peppers
  • 2 qt. chopped cabbage
  • 2 pt. chopped onions
  • 4 hot peppers
  • 10 Tbsp. salt
  • 8 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 qt. vinegar

    Mix vegetables together.

    Cover with the salt; let stand overnight in a crock or enameled pan.

    Drain.

    Add spices, sugar and vinegar; pack into clean jars.
