Doris' Pineapple Stuffing

  • 6 oz. (3/4 stick) butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 slices toasted bread, cubed
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Toast bread and cut into cubes.

    Beat eggs.

    Blend sugar and butter together.

    Add beaten eggs and vanilla.

    Mix together creamed ingredients, bread cubes and pineapple with juice and put into 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Sprinkle top with nutmeg.

    Bake at 350°

    for 45 minutes.

    Serve with ham.
