Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed lightly
- 3 slices bread
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 eggs, beaten lightly
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Toast bread and butter slices.

2Cut in cubes.

3Put sugar in top of double boiler; add bread, then add raisins.

4Add milk to beaten eggs.

5Pour over bread and raisins; do not stir.

6Cover and put over bottom of double boiler which is half full of cold water. Set over heat and cook 1 hour with water boiling gently.

7Turn out into serving dish and serve warm.

8The brown sugar makes a sauce.
