Double Chocolate Mint Bars

- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. oleo
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. mint extract
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
Directions

1Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

2Stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

3Cut in 3/4 cup oleo until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4Beat in eggs and 1/4 teaspoon mint extract; spread into pan and bake 23 to 25 minutes at 350° or until toothpick comes out clean.

5In saucepan, over low heat, melt 1/2 cup oleo with chocolate chips.

6Stir in Eagle Brand milk and remaining 1/4 teaspoon mint extract.

7Pour over baked layer and let stand in refrigerator until set.

8Cut into 24 bars.
