Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 c. Kellogg's corn flakes, crushed to 5 c.
  • 1/2 c. milk chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 c. butterscotch morsels

Directions

    Stir flour, salt, baking powder and soda together.

    Set aside. In large mixing bowl beat sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

    Stir in dry ingredients.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Add 2 cups crushed Kellogg's flakes and chocolate and butterscotch morsels.

    Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls into remaining crushed cereal, coating dough completely.

    Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350° about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

    Cool on wire racks.
