- 1 c. white cornmeal
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- salad oil
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together.

2Slowly add water, stirring until well blended and doughy.

3Divide into 12 patties; flatten thinly between 2 sheets of waxed paper.

4Place 2 teaspoonfuls meat mixture on each patty.

5Fold diagonally and seal. Brown in hot oil, turning once. Serve hot.
