- 2 c. flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Roll the dough to 1/2-inch on floured board.

2Cut with doughnut cutter.

3Lay on plate as you cut them.

4Fry in cast-iron pan.

5Add a cube of fresh bread to oil.

6When it browns, oil is ready.

7Cook at medium temperature, 3 to 5 minutes and turn. Drain on paper towels.
