Ingredients
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables/leftovers
- 4 cubes chicken base
- 2 c. chopped chicken or turkey
- 1 c. Cheddar or American cheese, shredded
- 1 can evaporated milk or 1 qt. whole milk
Directions

1Saute potatoes, celery and onion in butter.

2Add mixed vegetables.

3Cover with water and bring to boil.

4Add chicken base and chicken.

5Add cheese and milk.

6Bring to boil, then add flour and water paste to thicken or if you have leftover mashed potatoes, add it to thicken, instead of flour.

7Cook slow until thick.

8Serve with hot rolls or bread.
