  • 1 (16 to 20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 yellow or white cake mix
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

    In a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan, dump in pie filling and pineapple.

    Sprinkle dry cake mix on top.

    Scatter nuts on top, if desired.

    Melt margarine and pour over all.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
