  • 1 box Duncan Hines cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter, sliced in tsp. slices
  • 1/2 c. pecans

    In glass casserole oblong dish, layer all ingredients in this order:

    First layer, pineapple layered in pan; second layer, apple filing; third layer, Duncan Hines cake mix; fourth layer, pecans.

    Bake on high 325° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
