  • 1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 1 (20 oz.) cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • chopped pecans (optional)

Directions

    Place pineapple in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

    Add cherry pie filling on top.

    Sprinkle yellow cake mix and spread evenly with spatula.

    Melt butter and pour over cake mixture. Garnish with chopped pecans.

    Place in oven for 50 minutes until top is lightly browned.
