  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice (large)
  • 1 pkg. dry yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped or halved pecans
  • 2 sticks margarine or butter (1/2 lb.), cut into squares

Directions

    Mix cherry pie filling and pineapple in 13 x 9-inch pan. Layer dry cake mix on top of fruit, covering evenly.

    Cover entire cake with nuts, then with squares of butter.

    Bake one hour until brown at 350°.

    Makes 12 servings.
