  • 1 (24 oz.) large jar sweetened applesauce
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
  • 1 pkg. dry yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Layer applesauce, pineapple and nuts. Spoon over dry yellow cake mix.

    Melt butter and pour on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Top with whipped cream.
