  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 clove (Large) Garlic, Minced
  • 1/4 cups Red Onion, Finely Diced
  • 1/2 cups White Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 3 cups Half-and-Half Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan, Grated
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 pound Shrimp, Cooked In Crab Boil Spices
  • 10 whole Tagliatelle Nests
  • Parsley, To Garnish
  • Freshly Ground Pepper

Directions

    Heat a large pot of salted water for the pasta.

    Melt butter in a fry pan and saute garlic and red onion.

    Add white wine and let it reduce to less than a 1/4 cup.

    Add flour to the onion mixture and stir for 1 minute.

    Slowly with a wooden spoon or whisk, add the cream.

    Heat to simmer and reduce slightly.

    Add the cheese and salt to taste.

    Cook pasta according to the package instructions.

    Ladle sauce over the pasta nests (if they come apart while cooking, just re-form then into little nests again), top with the cooked shrimp.
