  • 1 can sweetened applesauce
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Grease an 8 x 13-inch pan.

    Dump applesauce into it.

    Dump crushed pineapple on top of that.

    Spread dry cake mix over that. Melt butter and pour over dry cake mix.

    Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts over butter.

    Do not stir.

    Bake at 350° for one hour. Top with whipped cream.
