- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 1/3 cup apple juice or 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1 cup chopped apple (skins or not, both okay)
- 1/3 cup raisins
Directions

1Cream the margarine and sugar.

2Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

3Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.

4Add the dry ingredients to the egg mix alternatively with the liquid, stirring between additions.

5Fold in the fruit.

6Bake in a greased loaf pan for approximately 55 minutes at 350 degrees.
