- 1 egg beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. diced, peeled tart apples
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of nutmeg
- dash of salt
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- heavy cream
Directions

1Beat egg with sugar until frothy.

2Combine apples with remaining ingredients, except butter and cream and blend well. Combine beaten egg with apple mixture and blend well and spread out in a buttered 9-inch pie plate.

3Dot with butter and bake in a 350° oven until browned, about 30 minutes.

4Slice and serve hot, topped with heavy cream.
