  • 1 large ready graham cracker pie crust
  • 2 large egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 8 c. sliced, peeled cooking apples
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter (room temperature)

Directions

    Brush bottom and side of crust evenly with egg yolk.

    Bake on baking sheet until light brown, about 5 minutes.
