Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Directions

    Spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam.

    Mix coconut and nuts together.
  3. 3
    Sprinkle over the bottom of the pan.

    Mix cake in a bowl according to the directions on the package. Pour into pan over coconut and nuts.

    Beat cream cheese and margarine until smooth and creamy.

    Sift powdered sugar and beat into cream cheese mixture until well mixed.

    Spread over the top of cake.

    Bake as time on box directs, adding 10 or 15 minutes.

    Cool on a rack, cut and serve.
