  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 lb. xxx sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened

Directions

    Sprinkle coconut and chopped nuts on bottom of greased pan. Prepare cake mix as directed; pour over coconut and nuts.

    Combine cream cheese, margarine and sugar; stir in vanilla.

    Drop last mixture by teaspoonfuls all over top of cake.

    (This will just about cover the cake.) Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes in 13 x 9-inch pan.
