Earthquake Cake

  • 1 c. or more chopped nuts
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Directions

    Spray 9 x 13-inch oblong pan with Pam spray.

    Spread chopped nuts to cover bottom of pan.

    Spread coconut on top of nuts.

    Mix cake as directed on box.

    Pour on top of nuts and coconut.

    Set aside while you mix melted margarine and softened cream cheese. Blend in box of powdered sugar until smooth.

    Pour this mixture over batter pouring back and forth.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cake rises up and falls in some places and looks like earth after a quake!
