Easily Microwave Custard

  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 45 grams Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 dash Vanilla extract

Directions

    Combine the ingredients and sift.

    Microwave the milk at 700 W for about 2 minutes.

    Whisk the milk into the ingredients a little at a time.

    Then, mix in the beaten egg in small batches.

    Microwave at 700 W for 2:30~3 minutes.

    Take out to stir 2 or 3 times along the way.

    When it is as thick as you'd like, remove from the microwave.

    Add the butter and vanilla extract to Step 4 while it's still hot, and mix.

    Once finished, pour it all into a shallow container.

    Cover the surface of the custard completely with a sheet if plastic wrap and leave to cool.

    The plastic prevents the surface from drying out, and you can remove it cleanly.
