  • 1 can cherry or apple pie filling (1 lb. 6 oz.)
  • 1/2 pkg. yellow or lemon cake mix
  • 1/4 lb. butter, melted

Directions

    Put pie filling into an 8 or 9-inch square pan.

    Spread cake mix over it and sprinkle with melted butter.

    Bake at 400°, uncovered, until very brown and dusky, for 30 to 45 minutes.
