Easy Beef Casserole

- 1 lb. lean beef (tips or cubed chuck)
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 1 can undiluted consomme
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 medium onion, sliced or chopped
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary (optional)
Directions

1Put meat in casserole with wine, consomme, onion, pepper and rosemary.

2Mix together flour and bread crumbs.

3Stir into meat mixture.

4Cover and bake at 300° for 2 to 3 hours until meat is fork-tender.

5Serve over rice or noodles.
