- 2 c. brown rice
- 4 c. low-sodium stock
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato puree
- 1 tsp. Mrs. Dash
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.

2Bring to boil; lower the heat and simmer until tender, about 35 to 40 minutes.

3In large frying pan, saute the ground beef.

4Drain off any excess fat, then add puree and seasoning.

5Add the cooked rice.

6Heat through and serve.
