Easy Beef Roast

Ingredients
- 4 to 6 lb. roast
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup
- 1/4 c. oil
- flour
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Flour on both sides and brown in oil in hot skillet on top of stove.

2After browning, put roast into roaster and cover with cream of mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix.

3Salt and pepper to taste and cover tightly.

4Bake at 350° approximately 30 minutes per pound.

5If desired, potatoes and carrots can be added to the roast the last hour of baking.

6Do not add water at any time.

7It makes its own gravy if kept tightly covered.
