Easy Beef Stroganoff

  • 1 or 2 bay leaves
  • 1 or 2 pounds slightly frozen round steak (or any steak)
  • 1/2 to 1 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. onion powder (may use fresh onion)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (may use fresh garlic)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 c. water
  • 1 to 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz. sliced mushrooms (optional)

    Slice steak into 2 by 2 pieces. Heat oil in a large skillet or dutch oven to medium. Add meat and brown slightly. Add flour mixing until evenly coated. Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook until
