Ingredients
- 500 grams flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 packages instant yeast
- 40 grams light margarine
- 100 ml low fat milk
- 200 ml water
Directions

1Mix the flour, salt, sugar and instant yeast together in a bowl.

2Mix in margarine (or butter) by hand until well mixed and flaky.

3Heat water and milk, mix together and mix in with flour.

4Knead dough for 10-20 minutes and cover with cloth for 5 minutes to raise.

5Preheat oven to 220C.

6Knead dough again and cover to raise for additional 20 minutes.

7Shape dough into small balls and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.

8Serve with butter or use as mini hamburger rolls and enjoy.

9Note: This recipe is simple and interchangable.

10I have baked many variants,including using cake flour, oil instead of butter, no water, baking soda and powder instead of yeast etc.

11and it still tasted great, albeit a different texture.
