Easy Cheesy Cheddar Bread

- 1 (8 ounce) carton cheddar cheese spread, at room temperature
- 14 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon white zinfandel wine
- 14 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons snipped parsley
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 loaf long French bread (16 - 18 inches)
Directions

1In a bowl, stir together cheddar cheese spread and butter.

2Stir in wine, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, onion and garlic.

3Cut bread crosswise into thick slices, cutting to bottom crust but NOT through it.

4Spread slices with cheese mixture.

5Place loaf on a baking sheet and cover loosely with foil.

6Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
