- 1 large chicken breast
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. cooking wine
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. ground basil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Skin and debone chicken breast after splitting it in two. Pound with a saucer or meat tenderizer until it's even in thickness.

2Sprinkle with salt and the basil on both sides.

3Fry in preheated butter until the pink disappears.

4Reduce heat to simmer and pour the wine and water over this.

5Simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes.

6Make gravy with juice and pour over the meat.
